requirement
1 The porthole have good ability of weather tight and enough strength.
2 The porthole are clean and smooth,the roughness(Ro) of surface should be less than 12.5um
3 The surface of spare parts don't have any cast flaws like chine ,slice and burning.The surface of casting don't have any flaws that will afect the toughness like sand holes ,air holes,chines and loose.
4 To guarantee the weater tight of the porthole ,the portholes use the rubber packing that resistant to sea water and UV.
5The porthole adopt the toughened safe glass with quality certificates.
6The steel spare parts of our porthole will carry out Hot-dip zinc processing according CB/Z 343.And the aluminum parts will carry out anodic oxidation processing according CB/Z.
ways of test
1Blunt water experiment
After installing is the ships,use nozzle(dia>12.5mm) carry out blunt water test with at least 250kPa,the distance between nozzle and porthole should be less than 1.5m. After testing,there should be no
drop of water or any leakage phenomenon on the testing part.
2Hydraulic test
The portholes will be installed in the special hydraulic test box,carry out test by two ways as follow.After testing,there should be no drop of water or any leakage phenomenon on the testing parts.

3Mechanical Strength test.
Keep the porthole on the test machine(without glass,close deadlight),the punch should in the centre of deadlight ,according to the requirement of deadlight sturcture,can put a steel board(dia=100mm) between punch and porthole.The test pressure and device as follow .
After test,the permanent deformation of deadlight should less thean 1% of the porthole clearing size.

inspection rules
1We will inspect the surface of every porthole accordingt to the requirement of GB/T 14413-93
2Carry out blunt water experiment to every porthole
3Carry out hydraulic test to 10% of every batch porthole.
